Makerspaces are actively changing Indiana. They are bringing new life to abandoned buildings, teaching new skills/training people on new technology and providing a start for inventors. Classic skills are being handed down to new generations, and folks of all ages are learning 3D printing, desktop manufacturing and other digital skills.

However, starting and running a Makerspace can be a challenging endeavour. In order to ensure the smooth start up and success of Makerspaces across the region, Indiana Makers advocates, educates and provides collaboration for Makerspaces of all types.
